The Warren County Records Commission, made up of the Recorder, the Auditor, the Clerk of Courts, the Prosecutor, and a member of the Board of County Commissioners,
is statutorily charged (Ohio Revised Code 149.38) with approving rules/schedules of records retention and disposition and to review applications for one-time
disposal of obsolete records as submitted by County Records Manager/Archivist, Jen Haney Conover. Once approved in an open meeting, as required by ORC 121.22,
they are sent to the Ohio History Connection and the State Auditor’s office for official approval. These are the most up to date retention schedules (RC-2)
of the county that have been approved by the Records Commission, OHC and State Auditor.*
